Cory Walters
“Midget Cory”
45, Citizen of the World
Cory has been an established figure in BMX for decades and a prominent figure in the trails scene. In recent years he rides to spread motivation, positivity and inspiration through BMX shows that are put on at schools nationwide all while running his own campground called The Sunset Nooks in Buckeye, Arizona. “BMX has always inspired me through its evolution and progression, and makes me really want to continue to be a part of it.”
Andy has known Cory for almost 2 decades and knew he needed Cory involved in our new venture. He has always had a great respect for not only Corys riding but also his outgoing personality and ability to make BMX fun.
Jeff Steele
28, Bend, OR.
Jeff has been riding 2 wheels since he was 2 years old and like most of us it led to a life behind bars if you will.
In Jeffs words “BMX is special to me because it’s freedom in it’s rawest form. It’s you, a bike, and whatevers in front of you. No rules, no limits, just commitment. Every session is earned; the pain, the slams, the progression all mean something. Theres nothing like the feeling of going big, floating a whip or throwing a nac over a jump you were scared of last week. BMX teaches patience, resilience, and confidence, it humbles you fast but rewards you even faster if you keep showing up. It’s not just riding its self-expression, community, and pushing yourself past what you thought was possible.”
When we met Jeff, Andy didn’t waste any time asking him to be a part of our team. He shares the same values and dedication to BMX we are looking for in our riders and we are excited to have him on board with what we are building.
